Biblical View of Work

Under the curse, the world views work either as a necessary evil to survive or as as a means to self-aggrandisement, giving them identity, significance, esteem and purpose.

For a Biblical Christian work is glorifying God. As we outwork all God has created us to be, we glorify Him and His handiwork. We see God working in the first chapter of the bible. You are created in His image. In the second chapter, before the curse, God invites us not only to observe His works, but to participate in them and work with Him - to be co-creators, to rule, to work and worship, continuing the creative process.
