The Whole System - Culture Cure

God is interested in the whole system, there is no part of your life that He is not interested in. He is not only interested in your “spiritual life”, implying that you are living another life apart from God. What is important to you is important to Him and we have to realise that God has called and commissioned each of us into a different area of culture and influence.

Living Culture

In the parable of the sower we see a farmer sowing perfectly good seed yet having vastly differing results depending on where the seeds fell. There is nothing wrong with God’s word, but to receive the harvest God has planned, we need to begin working on the soil of the culture to receive the seed we scatter. 

Why Do We Need Beauty?

Beauty is often considered an optional extra, a non-essential and we will not value the beauty around us because it does not contribute to the production in our lives. It is often only valued if it adds to our market success, where it can be commoditised.

 

But beauty in and of itself is valuable to our lives. You will live your life in a very different way when you live life as a problem to be solved as opposed to a masterpiece in the making.

Can Beauty Save the World?

Psalms 27:4
One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple.

Freedom, power and responsibility

If you do not take responsibility and control yourself, someone else will control you.

Your power and freedom will be taken away and given to someone else. Self control is another word for freedom

Do you want the Greater Blessings?

With great blessing, comes great responsibility. Do you have the capacity to receive all that God wants to pour out? 

The Real Prosperity Gospel

Money is such a small part of prosperity, in fact, it’s often the last part of prosperity. God wants us to prosper in every aspect of our lives. The word prosper in 3 John 1:2 is the word SHALOM. It means to be all of one piece, whole, integrated and at peace. How do we do this? Listen to find out. 

Christians, Get Your Head in the Game!

Ephesians 4:11 says "And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ."

The job of the Five Fold is to equip YOU to go out. God’s plan was that we would all be able to play the game, not just the guys up front. This week's podcast is about equipping the whole church to be bringing the kingdom and not just being spectators in an auditorium.

Life in the Spirit

You’ll never escape a subpar life living in the ordinary way of relying on yourself. To truly live this amazing, full, beautiful life we have to have absolute dependence on the Holy Spirit.

The Christian life God intended for you is not something that you’re working for, it’s a gift. Trying to attain this kind of life in your own strength and passing over the gift Jesus paid for in blood will fail you. The only way you’re going to get this is as a gift.
