Why Do We Need Beauty?

Beauty is often considered an optional extra, a non-essential and we will not value the beauty around us because it does not contribute to the production in our lives. It is often only valued if it adds to our market success, where it can be commoditised.

 

But beauty in and of itself is valuable to our lives. You will live your life in a very different way when you live life as a problem to be solved as opposed to a masterpiece in the making.
